Is it lavender, it is blue?

Don't rightly know, but 'tis a rich hue

Delicate petals strung along

Like the notes of a familiar song

Shaped like a bell, wonder what stories it would tell

To us as we walk around the dell

Flowers encircled by buds

So colorful are nature's duds

Vibrant reds, bright yellows do delight

Such a glorious morning sight

Delicate beauty

A double layered beauty delicate, with a shimmering glaze

Seems almost as if it has imbibed the sun's light, setting itself ablaze

Large Flowered Cactus

Clover or Flower...

Clover or flower, that I don't know

But it has a beautiful glow

Yellows & White

The flower, today, is without a rhyme

Try as I might, can't get it to gel this time

So, let the flower for itself speak

Its beauty, by far, is more powerful than my limited poetic streak.

Colors and blooms galore

Potted, Shrub or tree

These bloom short, tall and free

Some travel miles to new ground

Put out shoots and dominate the round

Pink, white, magenta, orange,  and yellow

Where they bloom, the atmosphere is mellow

The humble yet glorious Bougainvillea

Bunches of pink, fresh n bright angling toward the sunlight 

These flowers sure are a gardener's delight
