The day was begun by Shashi, who brought in
Nature's symmetry perfectly defined
Each petal, each line immaculately designed
Her true wonders do us hold rapt
Even as artists among us try to emulate the act.
Fuchsia in the morning
A glory crowning
Bringing smiles all around
Running stress and tiredness to the ground.
Placed for us to admire as we pass
Nature's beauty brought indoors
A calming infusion for us and yours.
From Sai, a veritable beauty
Floating amid big round leaves are flowers pink & white
Their radiance straddles the morning for humans to greet
Under them water dark, above them a blue sky
A message that they pass on, always aim high
From Shalini, nature preserved
Nature brought onto fabric by human hands
An attempt to hold time by slowing the falling sand
Captured, held close for human hands and eyes to adore
Nature's generosity has us asking for more

Spellbound am I, spellbound are you
For Masters like this are very few
Their creations in museums do reside
Giving us a glimpse of the beauty resident inside
