#DailyFlowers
Life moves at its own pace and plays its own games; the blogger was caught in some unexpected developments that derailed posting, but is back now.
This has been a strange year, we all know that, it has locked us in, derailed many a plan and lost us so many people. It has caused us to slow down to take in the sights and sounds around, to appreciate what we have, esp. mother nature's creations. Flowers have always delighted whether they be on plants, in gardens, ornamental, man-made or on fruiting vines...
We have a motley crew today, so sit back and enjoy; today's blog will not follow any particular order in posting...
As Shashi says: #DailyFlowers How is everyone today? This is from a year ago. Wherever you find them, flowers are beautiful. You don't need an occasion to buy flowers.
Mums in glorious oranges and yellows
Wherever they reside the environment turns mellow
Flowers to meet, greet and share
Flowers to say hello, that you care
From Vivek: Some are real, others artificial but all have the same objective: To add color to our mundane lives, albeit for a price
Add color, glorious bright
Bring lot of cheer to our mundane lives
Grace homes, offices with their might
Plenty of examples for robust high-fives
Shalini says: These are real, but look totally artificial. No idea what they are called though.
Look artificial but are totally real
A scene if painted would be called surreal
Fresh greens to lighten up days
Chase dark clouds, pollution away
From Sai another high shot
Looks like the Bougainvillea is enjoying its lot
Peeking over heads aiming for the sky
Its gorgeous pink makes me deeply sigh
Shalini went and brought in a fruiting vine, this time from her parents balcony; teaming it up with a pix shared quite some time earlier, we get the before and after
Before fruits and veges can grow,
Their flowers put on an amazing show
This one normally ends in yellows, oranges and reds
Is an important contributor to salad spreads
Pic on left from Shalini, on the right from Kiran
Some beauties that have been languishing for days...
Nature plays strange games
It two contrasting colors frames
Fuchsia and pink-tipped white it has grafted
Into a new variety that it has crafted
Co-Contributors
Shashi, Vivek, Shalini, Sai, and Rachna
