#DailyFlowers
Friday came and went and Saturday is ringing its presence, still some hours to go for it to end. Life these days is limited; one steps out only if absolutely necessary but finds oneself looking for signs of normalcy. People are moving around, but with masks on, and that is likely to continue for some more time. Steps are not hurried, they are slow, they take in the surroundings, whip out phones to take pix. My blog's contributors do that and tell us, too...
Having said that, only fitting I begin with Vivek: Bougainvillea rules! today’s morning walk. These days walks are more ‘search flowers’ trips than exercise. Good morning #DailyFlowers PS: I have used a filter
Less exercise more search flower trips
Of nature's bounty you get to take sips
Use filters, refine pix-taking skills
Share images that are not run-of-the-mill
For others to meet when you them greet
On Friday, he talked of flowers Demure, shy and quietly celebrating their place in the sun. Good morning
A place in the sun
Aptly crafted for this one
Demurely celebrating while being shy
Just the right kind of morning high
The seasons are a-changing, perhaps that is why Shashi is delving into his memories and pulling out these gems: Good morning India. From a village in Telangana in 2017
These cheery yellows do a lovely morning make
Their brightness we to heart take
As we move through the day
Their chirpiness brightens our way
Today, he went across to Bahrain,
On Adliya Avenue, framed by pink and green
A kind of oblong building is seen
Residence or office is not known
But love for nature's grace is shown
Shalini is not to be left behind; Shyly blushing #DailyFlowers that were reminiscent of pencil shavings in school
Purple and white is never shy
Blushing it may be
Those are flowers on a major high
Even as they bloom proud and free
And today, she pulled out a tree with new leaves that truly from a distance look like flowers: If madam admin permits, I'd like to use this picture today. I know it's a tree with new leaves on top but does it not remind you of a giant bouquet? Good morning, #DailyFlowers
What was madam admin to do, when presented with a fait acompli
Madam offering accepts with grace
After all nature's majesty is what we trace
Flower, plant, tree or shrub
It is a gigantic hub
Methinks Sai needs a section separate, for the gems he pulls are akin yet disparate
A delicate pink posited against a dark frame
Nature is for us to admire not tame
Mornings are filled with blooms rich
Placed as precisely as a surgeon's stitch
One of these days I am going to sit him down to ask
What all does he consider when executing the pix taking task
For his framing of flowers is so superb
I am fast running out of words to coin his blurbs
I have taken the liberty to combine contributions from Anjali and Rachna into one; the colors beautifully complement each other
It is Friday and flowers glorious are out
Let's give them all a welcome shout
Colors gentle, colors soft
They carry our spirits aloft
Well, those are the usual contributors, but every now and then more join in
A richly dressed fox tail
In lavender mauve with full detail
Forms one of nature's treasures
Its beauty & grace expands beyond standard measures
Archana has in her garden gems galore
The pix that she has shared have me asking for more
Another Bougainvillea has found its way here
Fully deserving of its place among the others shared
