#DailyFlowers
It's been a not-so good week, again! It's been one those where you dread the calls and dread the absence of calls. I wonder when this will come to an end. But along with the sorrow, pain and tears, has come relief, albeit a very expensive one, that they are not suffering anymore! Not that it eases the loss, but...
Anyway, not to be morbid for too long because flowers, well they don't stop blooming and the pix don't stop flowing in either... We begin with Shashi, he of the flower hunting fame, got called out by his wife for not capturing ...
'Rhododendrons in our backyard'
Had Shashi running for the camera hard
If he didn't their pics take
Unhappy his lady he would make
That would not make for joyful times
Peace, love and harmony are wanted chimes
Browsing on twitter, the most beautiful sight I did see (called to my attention by a co-contributor to this blog) Mala deserves all our praise and thanks, she has been volunteering day and night connecting those in need with succor.
Blooming merrily were Bluebells galore
Such beauties they had for us in store
Till the eyes could see
They blossomed in a glorious spree
From dazzling bluebells to softer hues
Coming up a couple of scintillating blues
Shared generously by contributors old and new
With their colors, flowers do us all renew
From blues to purple deep
Did this Balsam from V us keep
Engrossed in its deeper shades
We traveled to vales and glades
From municipal gardens
Flowers that hearts gladden
Brought in by Vivek in his colorful quest
His selections are put to and win the test
From Ethiopia he did roses bring
While from the backyard the frangipani did sing
Blooms of red-pink bunched together
They added a zing to the summer weather
The last post missed a rose that was late
Alas, it didn't get quite into the gate
Leaving it out this time would have been cruel
Along with this one from V, it's quite the jewel
Pinks are colors eternal
So many, it's hard to them journal
Beautiful nuanced pinks have been brought forth
For us to wonder, adore and take in their worth
From the delicately nuanced pinks we flew on winds
Make a wish and let me fly
I will carry it to the wish givers in the sky
Light as a thistle, up on high
And bring back a good supply
Soothing the weary eye
Gautam shared a white not so shy
A circlet in bloom
Lighting up the room
A bunch of yellows gloriously tripping
With hundreds of Amaltas blooms a-skipping
Treasures that truly delight
Nature's wonder filled sights
An annual cactus bloom
That cut through the night's gloom
With a flower so white
Shining with celestial light
