Pinks & Yellows do Merrily Sync

Another week has come to a close and the year end inches closer yet again. This time it seemed as if flowers had among themselves conspired to play the shade and hue game. And, #DailyFlowers finally got its own community on Twitter! Yay! The blogger is a day late in posting though; deadlines in the guise of training sessions and client submissions got in the way, but never mind, we are raring to go!

  Here's adenium come to bloom
Cutting through the morn's foggy gloom
It's cheerful pink is here to stay
Brighten every minute of the day
The adenium wasn't the only one
Bauhinia, lilium, poinsettia too joined the fun
Everywhere, we did peek
'Twas shaping up to a pink week
A hue that cares equally for all who seek
All opening gracefully to the morning sun
Beckoning to a good day's run! 

Of cabbage flowers n bright hues
Colors come in two-by-two
From holiday travels
And blessed balcony gardens

The week began with pinks
Moved onto yellows
Both colors do beautifully sync
And bring forth cheerful hellos
Smiling through the foggy morn
Of grace and beauty born

From flower collages
To backyard beauties
Shares in the community
And some really colorful montages

Orange jasmine, homegrown tomatoes
And the pigeon that did cheerfully pose
Splotches of white & light green
Against the red brick the bird did preen

Devil's claw & Ivy-leaf morning glory
The combination tells a strange story
Into this wandered a bloom-laden tree
Oh to be so high, colorful and free

Then came Lobster's claws and balcony roses
A dash of color and some greenery poses
Together they shine oh so brightly
Flowers and nature dance so sprightly

The Indian gooseberry did join the game
We call it Amla, that's its local name
Sour, tart, round and stout
A Vit-C powerhouse, but too much will make you pout

Still in Europe, Vivek's doing the touristy thing
Flower decked cycles, baskets & now paintings he doth bring
A tour of museums and masters he doth take
And shares the pix for our sake
