Monday began grey but soon perked up

A flower or cone does preen
Like a beacon playing its role
This creation rivets our attention whole

Hardworking flowers on a shrub
Nature doesn't stop cheering us up
Her beauty, hard work on display
Lighting up the day, pinks do hold sway.

Nature's love affair with pinks seems without end
She splashes them everywhere in glorious blends
Garden, pot, shrub, rambler, and tree
All hues of pink blooming happily free.

 Flowers don't just bloom for us to cheer
Sometimes they are also stuff that we wear
Flowers gentle, flowers mild
Spreading generously like a friendly child
