Back to Normal, but the Flowers aren't Formal

Monday was the wrap up for Durga pooja/Dusshera and a day of rest for most; so the working week began today. And it began with Sai who shared  a post that had everyone cracking up even as they appreciated it. So I begin this blog post with that

Isn't it a good way to live?

Anyway, here's the beauty he shared that actually kicked off the day; seems to have a penchant for framing flowers against a background dark

Little bunches seemingly so high
Like a glowing beacon pointing to the sky
Thank you for the joy you bring
The sight of you makes my heart want to sing 

Sai was followed by Vivek

Gentle splashes of red-pink
Amidst a sea of green
Oh, but you are miles up and ahead
While we stand below and in your beauty preen

Vivek was in turn followed by Shashi

Yellow is the color of the sun
Seen in the early morning to the day it adds fun
Flowers to meet, then others greet
Ain't nature gifts ever so sweet

And then it was Shalini's turn and she quoted Edelweiss

Small and white, clean and bright...not edelweiss though :)

Who would refuse such a beautiful lead in, nay not me

... You look so happy to meet me
Blossom so white, may you bloom and grow
With others put on a mighty show
Cutting through the gloom for all to see!

I haven't featured my cousin for too long now, hence..

The working week gets off to a fresh start
With the morn generously sharing nature's art
Flowers filled with color, fragrance and fulsome dances
Joy, love, togetherness melded as the season advances
