Monday and the Hunt for Flowers

 #DailyFlowers

DailyFlowers has created an issue or is it an opportunity for my co-contributors to go flower hunting so that they have gems to share. Shalini, Vivek and Shashi and yes even Mala have gone a-hunting and come back with gems.

Starting off today, I think was Sai

SAI is bringing in the play of dewdrops
That little drop has a massive role to play
When it showers its blessings on flowers n crops
And it lines up in a sweet array

And then there was Vivek, with borrowed flowers, yet again: Today’s sunshine is provided by this Sunflower from England courtesy Sandra . It has a pretty visitor too.

English Sunflowers from Sandra
These huge orange-yellow can even brighten up the icy tundra
With that much power to cheer
Is there any doubt about its position among its peers?

Then came in Shalini who went scouting: I too managed to capture a visitor to a flower in @sundernursery as I went hunting for material for #DailyFlowers

First they go ground level, then they go mid, then shoot sky high
Wonder what kind of tricks they all ply
But the flower is gorgeous and bold
And look at the tenacity of its visitor's  hold

And Shashi shared a gem from his walk: #DailyFlowers  flowers in my neighborhood from my walk.

You have to admit the contrast of grey-black and yellow is sprightly
It makes the morning shine even more brightly
This charming little scene delights the mind
Even as it does of Nature's fullness remind

Amid all this flowering beauty, let us not forget that Nature's green do also preen

Nature does upon us immense greenery bestow
And these in abundance with a little care grow
Soothes the eyes and the heart
Nature has their creation perfected to a fine art

My Co-contributors

Sai, Vivek, Shalini, Shashi and Rachna
