#DailyFlowers
Seems to make more sense posting every alternate day, so be it... the weekend comes in one dose
Saturday began with yours truly wondering where all the posts had gone, there was no flower on #twitter to greet the day in #DailyFlowers! Alas, that was a turn of events that caused me to ask
Where have all the flowers gone?
Where are beauties that color the morn?
Saturday is crying out for color
For the love of gentle flowers...
People seemed to be sleeping in, so the blogger began the day:
Saturday is up and awake
But the morning's beauties are a missing
It is not necessary that only flowers feature in the wishing
Here's beginning today's break
Shashi heard me it seems and came forth with a beauty that had me gasping, must say I returned to that flower throughout the day
Purplish pink and red fronds
Forming incredibly strong bonds
Forget winter, seems as if spring is in the air
Coloring and imbuing the season fair
I am a little unclear on who followed suit, me thinks it was Shalini or maybe Vivek; but in my notes have put Shalini first, so apologies to Vivek
Shalini: "Are these real?" That was my question too when hubby changed the game and brought these beauties home. The answer is yes, indeed they are :)
Gorgeous golden orbs blanketing a center brown
Amid those huge leaves, they look like glistening crowns
They are known to be lovers of the sun
Where they blossom beauty reigns and the season's won
Vivek brought in a beautiful blend: I do not remember where this picture was taken, but that does not take away from their beauty. Good morning
Mauve and white bells ready to ring
Wonder what melody these would sing
A clear tinkling chime could sound
A clarion call for the denizens to gather around
Shinjini is not hyper regular like the rest of us, but like Sai her compositions hold us in thrall
A bowl of flowers teamed with a fragrant votive
Infusing peace, harmony a pleasing motive
Blessings and hope they do spread
Invite us in lightly to tread
Saturday's tale is not yet done
My cousin has pulled out another one
A gently tinted bunch does bloom
As it is, it forms a gorgeous plume
Sunday came in slow to meet, it seemed to be dragging its feet; the first one is from my cousin, is known as the water hyacinth
Nature produces glories strange
Her color melding covers a vast range
Seems as if the flower below has a yellow eye
Looks high and low, far and near as much as it can espy
Sai came next
Aah, the framers back in action
His flower pix have great traction
A cheery bloom you and me to greet
Hopefully many more of these we will today meet
Sai was followed by Vivek: These flowers are from a Vineyard/Winery. Couldn't cut myself out of it. Malivoire is French for the red beetle. Good Morning. #DailyFlowers Pic by Asmita (missus)
What's that rhyme about flower, song and wine
Seems like all but one for Vivek fell in line
Vineyards do have their own blooms
Their produce is appreciated across the world in many rooms!
Here's a #Sunday tweet for you from #DariyaKhanTomb . The silk floss is so profuse that the ground below it is covered with petals...
When petals decide to cover the ground
You know blossoms plentiful are around
This one is known as the silk floss
Here in this place it truly is the boss!
My FB friend shared an entire series, of which I previously used about three
The deeper tones somehow make winter their own
They form the centerpieces in gardens they are grown
Beautiful reds, pinks, oranges deep
A sight to absorb, hold and for the longer days keep
Shashi marks today's closing note: The time changed today. These flowers are still going strong. The last of the season, but this time I am happy that time passes fast and they will be back. Hope your Sunday is fantastic
The last blooms of the season
They are going out for a reason
They will return once warmer climes come
Till then their memory will a beacon become
