#DailyFlowers
Our intrepid traveler continues with his journeys and shares snapshots to keep us engaged. In the course of things were shared images of sunsets/sunrises and that inevitably brings forth more.
Sunset point in Madikeri, Coorg. This is not the actual sunset but it did look lovely behind the trees before the clouds had their way. Went to see the sun rise.
The sun sets in one region to rise in another
A day ends in one hemisphere to begin in the other
The crimson-peaches give way to yellows golden
Nights move to rest and mornings are emboldened
And then there are flowers, but when aren't there flowers, after all this blog is all about their immense powers, right?
This 150 years old frangipani tree in the Vitthala temple courtyard must have seen millions of tourists in its lifetime. Wonder what it thinks about me. Good morning
Well, history steeped temples did Vivek meet
Wonder who did the other first greet
A 150-yr old tree with branches arching to the sky
Or Vivek who is on a traveler's high
Saw this house on the Munnar-Thekkady I had to take a picture. The owner was standing in front and gave permission. It is simple but the flowers make it beautiful
While capturing sunrises, Vivek did come upon this flower
To attract his attention away from yellow oranges did take some power
Immortalized it did he with his lens
And then shared it for the pleasure of friends
And while driving around he did a home espy
From the owner permission to share he did pry
On its walls, boundaries, hedges flowers their glories lend
Against a sky so blue, it forms an awesome blend
Over two days Shalini trod a couple of ways
Blessed, bounded by flowers
These paths have some magical powers
Yellows and reds add cheers to spring days
Stress, worry, tension all do flee
When flowers bloom in fulsome glee
If Shalini goes meandering down garden paths can Vivek be far behind: Hum bhi kuchh kum nahi
Vivek brought forth his counter
With Pinks, yellows oranges offered a rejoinder
But flowers do not each other fight
They offer glimpses of beauty bright
Delhi in spring is a sight for sore eyes...these gorgeous white lilies in Nehru Park took my breath away.
Delhi is a joy in the spring
Multitude blooms do smiles forth bring
Circles, gardens, footpaths and more
Home to enchanting colors and flowers galore
The beauty of these indigo flowers was just not getting captured by my phone camera; so much so that even the actual deep indigo shade has got distorted to some kind of purple. But I'm glad. Some things need to remain in the mind's eye rather than caught on camera.
The camera she says does lie
Indigo changed to purple in the blink of an eye
The mind's eye and memories come to the rescue
Forever the indigo will be a stronger hue
Contrasted with a sky so blue
Overpowering flowers and the ground true
The whites, pinks and peeping yellows
Only heighten the purple-blue fellows
NDMC/CPWD always does a wonderful job of maintaining such spaces. Good Morning, everyone. Good Morning. How's the Monday treating you so far?? Today's morning walk, found these beauties. Good Morning to all
A wide variety does Deepak bring
The hues do quite loudly sing
We gladly with you do share
Our love and joy for the season so fair
Leaves of different varieties...; Am told these are from Indonesia
Pinks have found a new fan
Almost all of Vishnu's pix do the color span
From shaded leaves to adenium blossoms
Pinks make for impressive columns
More new flowers from the same group that is the first in the neighborhood. #dailyflowers. The other photos are cherry blossom trees that will bloom soon. These are the beginning of soon to be flowers
Winter is slowly giving way to spring
And that in Shashi's part of the world does bring
Trees laden with blooms set to unfurl
Blossoms on Cherry trees yet to uncurl
Delight passers and all around
With colors vibrant, beauty profound
