#DailyFlowers
There are so many flowers, and so many pix and the wordsmith has fallen behind. But between taking care of mom, the house and everything and churning out reports I am bushed. One thing that helps is that Mom has a routine but that also means from the time we wake up (6am) till about 9am i busy buzzing like a busy-bee!
And my contributors, oh boy! No sooner do I post the purple magic family, they spring some more of them on me and truly awesome ones.
So, we begin with Mistah Vivek
But the purple-lavender's done
It had its place in the sun
And here's Vivek pulling out one more
Looks like he wants to up the score!
And then Shalini dived in with one to adore
The bush with grace this lavender wore
A color gentle but of mighty power
On us its blooming presence does shower
It seemed they wanted to further even the score
Brilliant violets came out to play
Put others into shade with their fiery display
After all for stopping heads is the color designed
The US and India shared blooms divine
It's as if nature decided to break the line
Deep pinks responded and came to try
From light to stripe to dark they did range
Beauties from across lands known and strange
The cousin joined in with a pink so bright
In it marched to spread the light
Crossing fingers that things go fine
And two folks can quit the isolation/quarantine line
From deeper to softer pinks did we move
With these beauties to nature we groove
Extra colors did they in bring
But then you have to remember that is creation's thing
However you choose it does in slant
All because Vivek is housebound
Excuses, excuses abound
But the pink is joy sheer
Thank you for sharing it here
Not if you don't want them to pout
Brilliant reds make their mark
A trio of blooms along with Gulmohar add a spark
Red then called out the blue
You have to admit it's an amazing hue
Whether alone, or with yellow and white
It makes for a thrilling sight
I must say it was quite the scene
Colors prancing as they came
White and green, will never be the same
The white holds fame so tight
Look at it sparkling oh so bright
Amidst a bed of green
Posed regally like a queen
'Tis was the turn for greens to call
They went and decked the hall
Yellows they sang loud and long
Everywhere reverberated with song
Oranges and pale yellow do here belong
With lilies they are going strong
North and South did in blossoms merge
Colors blended did newly emerge
The page was opened for the whites to return
Whites for glory and for peace
May the power of love, peace increase
Flowering plants, bushes and trees
Whites and ilk on a blossoming spree
