Over across in the US, Spring is definitely in and flowers are blooming like crazy; the hues that are coming forth are equally eye-catching. Here in India, Spring is set, in fact many regions are moving into early summer, it's hot, humid and sweltering. Flowers in their myriad varieties, hues and shapes bring cheer as Covid just doesn't seem to go.
The blog is growing in strength and contributors; we have 2 more new folks, my friend, Navoch and Shashi's friend, June! Welcome and thanks for the contribution. Hope this wordsmith can do them justice...
And, I must not forget to wish all who are celebrating greetings and best wishes on/of Baisakhi, Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, Navrati, Bihu and Ramadan...
A friend on leave did some flowers send
Numerous blooms into the countryside blend
All colors imaginable are seen
On seeing the camera, royally they preen
In the center sits the pink as a queen
On a leafless bough, that's quite a scene
Pinks, creams, whites and yellows came out to play
In their merriment, put on quite a display
A flowering bush whose name my mind did skip
Navoch, from the hills brought complimenting color
Newer, fresher hues did the blog discover
And the contributions to the purple pinks continue to grow:
Yesh! The Pink-purple group is coming along fine
One of these days, it will all be laid in line
Keep them coming, keep them coming
One fine day they will be up and running!
Flowers in full bloom are so stunning
Whether around buildings or hills they are sunning
The last in this line is a mystery for sure
Bird's beak, date, flower, beauty is assured
The degree of fun that Shashi's is having is indescribable. Methinks the title of the photographer may have to change hands 😀
Rainbows of colors abound
Wherever Shashi looks around
The season it rejoices
With varied flower choices
Well, to give a break from pictures, what better way than to introduce sound; held back the last time because the post was too long, #DailyFlowers participants broke into lovely songs.

Purple leaves under a bed of green
Misty lavender against a rooftop & white forms a screen
Mauve and a yellow curtain form a plume
US and India with flowers meet
What a beautiful sight does us greet
On the right: Caesalpineae in full bloom
Another for the purple-pink collection
This adds range to the selection
Vivek just upped the ante
Others might need a new slant
Shashi matches Vivek flower to plant
New pix to enjoy he does us grant
Hues of spring do on us burst
Combinations totally unrehearsed
A water lily and the busy bee
Both growing fine and totally free
Nature's creations royal and majestic
A juxtaposition truly eclectic
Shalini featured an inveterate photographer
Of these flowers, he seems to be the choreographer
Posed and poised the beauties do shine
