#DailyFlowers
Tick-tock, goes the clock, counting its merry circle round seconds, minutes, hours and days as they pass on. Months blend into one another, Fall/Autumn's round the corner. As the western/cooler climes say goodbye to flowers, our side blooms on. Somewhere in this whole thing, Diwali, aka, the Festival of Lights came in, registered its presence and moved on. Many a home & family would have been muted this year, too many losses to count, a silent mourning seen. But, flowers, they are still around!
Roses saying goodbye at one end
At the other, they are just coming in
Nature's balancing act quite clearly seen
In the world's flowering scenes
Pinks and reds had quite the gleam
Along with not-Roses formed a team
Majestic blooms in regal poses
Made for some real heady doses
Diyas & rangolis were shining bright
Offering obeisance to the Goddess
That she may with abundance & prosperity us bless
Knocked another festival on our doors
Chhath Pooja faithful know the scores
Udayji went to one near his place
Flowers floating in urns graced the place
In wall hangings merrily shooting the breeze
Colors vivid, bright and light
Numerous blooms to excite and delight
But these blooms upped the game
Along with bougainvillea divine
They seemed to be dancing in line
Though Fall tries to rush them along
But they still have stories to tell
So they are hanging in their quite well
After two years, Shashi to a conference went
All attendees were of a similar mental bent
Masks still ruled the way
Only for food & drink were they put away
Deepak brought forth quite a selection
This week's share upped his collection
Pinks, reds, whites gambol and play
With their beauty light up our day
Vivek is on an Amsterdam trip
Obviously, local blooms have into the blog slipped
Autumn has made its presence felt
But these hues refuse to fly away & melt
Welcome times with family are here
His pix make for endearing souvenirs
