#DailyFlowers
Covid is easing off in most countries of the world, so the home-bound lot has got their traveling hats on and is moving. This week at least 3 contributors are away from home bases. But the flowers mandate remains strong so they scout for flowers along the way. Before I begin the major vibrant pool, Shalini has gone once again to the multi-layered, multi-hued desert state and from there she says:
I searched high and low
In the great fort of yore
Flowers I couldn't find
These stone flowers were the only memories left behind
By warriors who did not have a mind
For gardening and planting
Flowers or vines...
(Begging kind permission
Of admin for inclusion) #DailyFlowers
Well, who's the blogger to say nay
When the contributor does so beautifully her part say
And then there's Shashi, to the grocers he did with permission go
And brought back sights that add to the show
I forget to showcase her goodies, don't make her rimes
How one hibiscus is dark, the other so bright
Would you believe they blossom on one shrub
It is not as if they've come from different hubs
Seasons change, yet colors remain true
Bringing forth resplendent hues
A lil one will soon grandma/grandpa's fingers grip
From Amsterdam & Antwerp he has sent
Glorious blooms as vibrant presents
Roses & mums from Tulip land
Cycles turned into flowery stands
Another, sometime contributor off on holiday did go
This red cactus only in the hills does grow
Colors richer, blooms tightly bunched
Within itself all of nature it has crunched
And then there are dew-adorned petals
Little pearls that do comfortably settle
Blessings that tinge the tips and whole
Dewdrops on a morning stroll
Seasons change and fall comes around
Roses, chrysanthemums begin to abound
Darker, brighter solid hues come into play
All together a powerful display
It is fitting that the shared shot was like a tree
Brilliant pinks, yellows, purples in did join
A symmetrical vision they did coin
When all other colors have had their say
Deep pinks solemnly come out to play
Fringed by white, tinted with light pinks
These beauties deeply in minds do sink
