It's been a long time since I came to this page and put fingers to the keyboard. But to be honest the drive to do so has not been present. Hopefully, today marks a fresh start and I will be able to post more regularly. I may not be able to cover all the pix that were shared since the last post, but will try to make up for some. And yes, on my journeys I spent time in Delhi where spring was making its presence felt with Tulips & roses, especially. Will feature these in due course. For the now
It's time to write
Yet words sound trite
There's a deep emptiness inside
And no place for it to hide
Flowers beautiful, colorful & serene
They should be making for wonderful scenes
Yet the lines do not flow
The blog cannot put up its regular show
Blooms there are so many
Hues vivid and zany
From across the world do pictures come
Of winter blooms, then spring and some
Of Tulips, petunias, daffodils, daisies and more
Too many flowers to even keep up the score
Colors so vivid that they do shine
On blooms calm, peaceful and so benign
Roses have a special place
Each sighting is blessed with unique grace
Full well the sharers have done their bit
Is for the blogger to make descriptions lit
Me thinks the lines are too tame
It's gonna take some time to up the game
As myriad colors share their beauty
This blogger strives to do her duty
To let the colors have their way
So that blooming melodies may again sing & sway
Come forth to brighten days & ways
Do justice to Nature's displays
Not Flowers but a collective's expression
With paint on canvas, multitude impressions
A city-scape, workers, guards and more
Swirls, whorls & geometric shapes offset the score
Colors beautifully mingled
From one canvas to another, tales do jingle
