#DailyFlowers
Shashi was the first one in, with
A group of four merry blooms
Cutting through the Covid gloom
Colors bright and cheery
They fill the air with their hues, make the pandemic leery.
A flowering madhumalti does the garden cheer
The birds also come flocking near
Its fragrance it spreads far and wide
As up the vine it does ride.
Splashed against the sky deep red pinks
Bunches of flowers rule the day
Recharge us and make us think
About brightening everyone's way
Tender blooms of green and white
Shining in the morning light
Adding to the day's cheer
Inviting little folk to come near
Surrounded by fulsome green
Pink and Yellows are lucky fellows
They do in the garden preen
And render our hearts mellow.
