#DailyFlowers
Well, the weekend is here... I'm sure many people are still saying TGIF! The post's heading is taken from Shalini, but it was Shashi who kicked off the day with
From my (Shashi's) "office" window
An office window with an amazing view
We didn't know the beauties we had till Covid in blew
Full well the contrast of the paved brick against the pink
A nice place to think with an energizing drink
From Shalini, #fridaymorning comes in shyly...these blossoms wouldn't lift their heads at all :)
We can't have that, can we, so
Wouldn't lift their heads?
But they are such gorgeous yellow-reds
The day begins with these blossoms shy
Up towards the sky do they want to fly?
Vivek was quick to offer a riposte
Nothing shy about these...
Good morning. Photo: Arti Lecluyse
Trees are never shy about their gems
They stand tall, laden with flowers, thousands and tens
To adore them up you need to look
They beautify many a corner, garden, pathway and nook
From Vishnu, two beauties, one shared after yesterday's post was done, so left out and then today
A beautiful peach-red globe against the verdant green
Flowers bunched tightly together creating an amazing scene
Tempted to reach out am I to touch their beauty
But my mind cautions against interrupting their bountiful duty
Nature is full of pinks
Every nook and corner a shade does blink
Flowers grand, flowers tiny
Some matte, some shiny
Mala says: Not very clear shots as I was trying to zoom in ...but I loved the colors. Both are from the same garden.
Colors so vivid, colors so bright
That the camera got taken in and didn't zoom right
But that's okay for the flowers make a good story
The photographer is still covered in glory
From my Cousin a right royal treat
A conical beauty made it seems from a gel
The surrounding green leaves form its shell
Emerging like a lady beautiful and strong
It produces a spice coveted which has been used for long
Turmeric/Haldi flower
And, some memories of 52AN, again
A bunch of reds, with a bee perched on their heads
A hard worker, but it did so lightly tread
Drank the nectar, got some energy
Soon it was buzzing off, creating some more synergy
