Hints of Reddish Tints

 #DailyFlowers

Sometimes even though there's a lot running at the back of mind, I don't know what to put down here. It is one of those days today!

The day was also in the red spectrum, except for Vivek.

Shashi: A single rose bud with a powerful message

A message so powerfully inherent
This single rose has sent
Lone, but not alone n awfully strong
Radiating love a mile long

Keeping the red theme going was Sai, who accompanied his pix with very evocative lines

Good morning! The red flower
Sitting on your hair
Speaks all the unspoken words
Of a promise to be kept

That red flower crowning your hair
Speaks of love, sharing, joy and care
Promises made and those yet to be kept
An agreement solid with provisos well set

Shalini went to Lodhi Gardens to continue the shade saga: Red velvet flower or celosia is described as "the weirdest-looking, most strikingly beautiful flower". Also known as wool flower, feather flower and red fox. Gyanvardhan for the day :-p A riot of these at #lodhigarden put tulips to shame

These pink reds deep evoke memories of yore
Of gardens, morning walks, winter mornings and more
Winter morns in Delhi are singularity blessed
Each roundabout n monument in nature's vibrancy dressed

And then there was Vivek, who decided to bring in a sibling flower to the purple whose leaves are synonymous with gold on Diwali. And wicked me decided to combine that with a rose shared by him because it continues the color theme

Ruby red and innocent white
Together they make quite a sight
Such magnificence for us to enjoy
Nature does high magic employ

Crimson, Ruby and Scarlet
Roses are no less than imperious starlets
Full attention they demand
For we are theirs to command
