#DailyFlowers
Saturday and Sunday were fairly relaxed and the blogger had some fun; hope you all did too. Winter is creeping in across the world, well in most regions and winter flowers are making their presence felt. There are some that are unique to this time and well... we begin with them...
They begin as light green, then a pink tinge suffuses them, even as the pink spreads some leaves turn into the final pinkish reds or Xmas-reds
We know there's will be a Xmas story
When poinsettias come out in all their glory
Santa, reindeer, stockings, gifts
All these our spirits lift
We mayn't sit side by side
Due to Covid's insane ride
But sharing n caring don't stop
So, what if we are sipping pop
And the day before Shalini shared a painting made by her other-half: Taking a cue from @thaokar_vivek here's a painting done by @narayananbala of the silk floss tree many years ago...Happy #weekend ! #DailyFlowers
When the painter picks up his brush
You know there's gonna be a blush
Of colors upon paper
The artist is the draper
Vivek! Flowers but not flowers. Underwater beauties. Good morning! #DailyFlowers Shedd Aquarium, Chicago
Underwater? Wasn't land enough for you
That you had to invade water bodies, too
And that too presented as a GIF
You went and met them face-to-face, as if
Shinjini joined in yesterday, another painter to the fore
From her journal abstract flowers to form a painting's core
Colors soothing, dabbed forms soft
A mighty creation that carries our spirits aloft
From Shashi: Happy Sunday #DailyFlowers
Roses, Roses galore
My heart says it wants more
Love the colors herein shared
They are so well teamed and paired
Pinked tipped blossoms that preen
Although not full blooms
The eye to them zooms
Wild but sophisticated and beautiful. Good morning
Vivek strolled out and met a wild flower
Beautiful, sophisticated, full of grace and power
That brilliant color would have surely caught his eyes
Even as his camera did the blooming glory immortalize
Nature's colors are always intended
Though one can wonder if they were amended
Deliberately to show her range
Of creations mysterious and strange
And If Winter is in
Can roses be left out
Plants, shrubs, creepers, tree
In shades of pink, they set us free
