A Glorious Pink-infused Riot

 The blogger has gone slightly nuts; the boss said December would be easy, alas it is full of buts... but this must go, but the client is waiting, and the poor blogger, she is a-drifting

So, 

Austin in flame
Stepped up the game
Rhymes fled
No time they pled
Courage the blogger did pluck
And then she met Donald Duck
Who seems to be in major luck
Surrounded by blooms
Chasing away the gloom

Shalini did Delhi flee
Into Rajasthan she stepped with glee
Amid lakes, palaces all tinged with pink
Mind at rest, no worries no cause to think
Only to rest, enjoy the days
While nature and gardeners put their skills to play

Shalini and Shashi on different shores
Somehow shared pinks that call for more
One in gay abandon, calls to bikes
Another spruced, framed, filtered gets many likes
 

Nilima did wildflowers espy
Such lovely shades, oh me oh my
Nature's magnificence growing free
Flowers in the wild on a blooming spree

Two lovely pinks did Vivek bring
But one of them he pranked
Camera filters he did on them swing
While the other he Atletico Madrid fanned 

 His usual beauty Sai brought forth
With the camera's focus increased its worth
Another pink did in stroll
With the pix taker, it's on a roll

Today V brought in an orchard white
It gleams in the morning's light
Teamed with its brilliant greens
It displays its vibrant sheen

Christmas Ahoy
Nature joins in the joy
Meet these lantern-flowers
Allow them to light up the bowers

Vivek did try to beguile
The plant into growing pencils in style
But the flowers mimic pencil shavings
Leave Vivek adrift with his cravings

Roses & Other Blooms are a-Rockin'

 The weekend has come and almost gone, but the flowers are holding strong and spreading their cheer. This blogger has fallen back by some days due to some issues with the blog, but is trying to catch up here. 

Roses, as only Archana can grow
Look at them put on a vibrant show
Glorious blooms in December
Warm memories to remember
Treasures to cherish  and hide
Long summer days to tide 

 

From Anjali a kaleidoscope of images
Flowers that are nurtured in gardens and country villages
Colors random yet so bright
Building up the morning's delight

Mother Nature's colors bright
Enhanced by man to bring more delight
These truly are glorious
The colors and tones wonderfully riotous

On one hand a profusion of hues
On the other two colors into one fuse
Yellows and light pinks greeting the sun
Yellows, pinks, creams, oranges meeting in a medley of fun

Deep pinks and reds and the red holly

Come together for a season so jolly
A feeling of peace, joy all pervading
Bringing all of together, into songs persuading

Uncommon colors come to the fore
When mums in Rachna's garden bloom by the score
Tends she to them with much love and care
While they with her do such vibrant shades share

 

 

 

A dewdrop fuchsia beauty bright
Another a green sprinkled stark white
Both have been by Sai masterfully caught
For #DailyFlowers they have been sought

 

Our intrepid explorer  has gone far from Delhi's smoggy climes
Into the dessert state to meet some of its melodious chimes
But, baby bay leaves and bougainvillea do their appearance make
The combination across two days has upped her contributory stake

The Times they are a Changing

 Times are changing, that's for sure. Whether for better or worse still needs to be assessed; but they are a changing and that causes restlessness... and we need something that will anchor us and keep us safe and sane... Mother Nature has performed remarkably on that front this year, well ever since this blog was started and today too she shares her gems for us to savor.

But protests, Covid and other issues do press on....

Well, Sai came back after quite some time:

Sai, the framer is back
His kind of framing we cannot hack
A glorious magenta makes its way
Maybe the crowning glory of the day

Shashi has reverted to travels for flowers: #DailyFlowers from a wedding in Piura, Peru last year 

'Tis the season for weddings
For bestowing couple blessings
Flowers add to the glory of the day
With their beauty and fragrance light everyone's way

Vivek and Shalini to nurseries went: These were vying for my attention on a visit to a nursery and got it! Good morning 

Flowers vying for Vivek's attention
He did have to that mention
But those colors have me in thrall
When did i last see them, cannot recall

From Shalini ...and this one at the nursery I went to :-D You mostly see the red Celosia everywhere, this yellow was a surprise.

Nursery visits are up and running
Methinks people are going only for the sunning
Meeting flowers or taking them home
Is an addition to the initial reason to roam

Today...

Flowers have gone missing..
Perhaps somewhere else they are dishing
Their love and care
Glory, color, vibrancy that they share
Or maybe @shashib forgot to them attach
And sent the tweet before they could properly it catch

But connections and memories eternal
