Pure divine whites turned into blood reds

Much like the Bleeding Heart Vine, my soul tears sheds
A country vibrant united
Society today rent asunder divided
Prayers raised for healing

The chasm hopefully sealing

This flower portrays my angst and anguish at the events of Aug 5 in India. The white drooping into red, with a pointed end... seemed to speak to my heart, overwhelmed as it was with the spiral my country is falling into
