 'Twas a lazy Sunday, a little too lazy if you get me, the blogger took a break, no post did she make. But she is back with some brilliant images, ah well the folks sent them in... and not to couple them with silly poetry would be for this blog akin to sin... so here we go

On twitter, one meets many people, some just slide past, some hold attention, today we feature one whose tweets bring enjoyment, are enlightening and kind of suit one's mental make up... The best thing is when you ask if you can feature them, the answer invariably (to date for me at least) has been yes.

Brilliance, did I say? Deep reds rule the roost
To a lazy Sunday, they give quite the boost
Am no gardener else I would have the flower's name
Though from others I understand it has some fame
Still, many thanks to @ranjona for the share
Its symmetry possesses a lot of flare

A similar beauty from Anjali comes to greet
A creation in pinkish red does compete
Fascinating flowers we get to see
Natural wonders of a high degree

 Sunday dawns sunny and bright
Seems everything with the world is right
For some moments let us tarry
Let blooms and flowers troubles and chaos parry

Birds of paradise ranged to form mountain peaks
Will they stay still, will they away fly
What songs will they float on the air clear and high

Trios and quads of innocent white with centers yellow
Perched up against green leaves, they are amazing fellows

 Contrast or complementary you decide
But purple and orange-yellow have replied
Together we play, sing and bloom
Responsibility for making your home cheerful, we gladly assume

Monday came tiptoeing in, brushed Sunday aside

The new week has begun
Alas, I am a super tired one
I need gorgeous flowers to awaken
Some of this sleepiness to be shaken

Deep ruby reds do their presence mark
On Monday mornings they do embers spark
A charge that should get us through the week
From blooms splendid and unique

Shalini decided to shake things up

Such a delicious looking basket
But were one to try, would be a dental casket
So tempting these fresh ones look
But, please don't you them try to cook

Birds or flowers was my question, but Vivek answered it
Now I have to work hard at making descriptions fit
Flowers purple or bluebird rulers
Delicate craftsmanship of nature's jewelers?

From my cousin's garden, another scarlet gem
Standing proud and tall on its delicate stem
Full many a visitor does it wow
To its magnificence let's offer a bow
